About WiredKidz
WiredKidz Open Letter To Parents
Dear Parents,
Thank you for taking an interest in WiredKidz.
WiredKidz is the children's section of WiredKids. WiredKids is
very proud to be the Official North American Site of UNESCO's
Innocence in Danger Program. This site, WiredKids, and the North
American division of UNESCO's program are under the direction of
Parry
Aftab, and houses the US National Action Committee for that
project. It also works closely with leading Internet safety groups,
such as WiredPatrol.
If you would like to read about the media attention we've received
so far you can do that here.
Our WiredKidz activities, classes and clubs are run by trained
WiredKids Division members who have made a commitment to keeping
these kids safe online.
In our WiredKidz Community, we've taken extra safety precautions
to try to keep your kids safe while they're with us and that's why
we require such detailed information when you sign your child up.
Included in that information is the requirement for a Letter of
Good Standing from your child's school. This is one of the ways
we attempt to ensure that no adults will join us masquerading as
children.
If you child is not attending a public school we would be happy
to make other arrangements, simply contact us and we'll provide
you with some other options.
If you would like to see some of the activities and clubs we offer
in our community you can simply click here.
We hope you'll allow your child/children to join us. Every child
we educate now will later become a net-wise teenager and later,
a safe adult.
Thank you,
